Host A Camp

“Blood Donation 365 Days” is the initiative taken by JSG (Topaz) Charitable Trust, Jaipur for noble cause of gifting life through blood donation. This initiative intends to organize blood donation camps on daily basis, throughout the year, regularly.

Looking at the demand-supply gap of blood, it is clear that a few blood donation camps even if they are on a big level cannot meet the demand of blood. To meet the demand of blood it is necessary that such camps are organized on regular basis. This is possible only when individual and small organizations come forward to be a part of blood donation drive. We are targeting those individual and organizations who wish to organize a blood donation camp, but hesitate of make necessary arrangements and we are making it easier for them. We intend to organize blood donation camps throughout the year and this drive will continue year on year, we hope.

JSG (Topaz) Charitable Trust will organize these camps and any individual, company, organization or association can host a camp under Blood Donation 365 Days initiative.

Once you decide to host a blood donation camp, just contact us through website, e-mail or phone and give us your contact detail. One of our team members will meet you and fill up a small form to register you as a host. At the time of registration you will be asked choose a date to host a camp under this initiative. The chosen date will be reserved with the host for every year. This date can be an important day like birthday of a family member, wedding anniversary, death anniversary, foundation day etc. This is how one can make his/her special day a memorable day in noble way. Camp venue can be of their choice like residence, apartment, factory, commercial complex, community hall, public place etc.

Host will just need to invite friends, relatives, associates, colleagues and neighbors on such date to join the camp and donate blood if they are found eligible. JSG (Topaz) Charitable Trust will arrange for medical team, mobile blood donation bus/van etc. Host is expected to arrange light refreshment for blood donors (like 2 types of biscuit, 2 types of fruits, 1 sweat, 1 namkeen item and tea-coffee.) Having coffee is necessary for blood donors after donating blood.

We have tied up with blood banks in the Jaipur. We call the mobile blood donation van/bus from one of these banks as per availability. Collected blood is taken by these banks.

Generally, a blood donation camp takes 3-4 hours. Though, it depends on the number of donors coming to camp and the time gap between donors. Remember, your 3-4 hours in a year can save many lives.

It doesn’t matter; you can register for the same date too. We can choose different timings for camp on that date or we can call medical team and van/bus from different blood bank. Thus, more than one camp can be easily managed on a single date.

Right now we are organizing camps at Jaipur and nearby cities. Soon, we will add more cities where camp can be organized.
