Blood Donation 365 Days

There is no substitute for human blood. When somebody donates blood, he actually brings smile in many lives. According to a survey, in every three seconds, someone in the world needs blood transfusion. Road accidents, surgeries, organ transplants cases also need blood in very huge quantity. But, this huge demand for blood is not taken care of even by the hospitals and blood banks, because they have very less supply in comparison to the demand.

We feel that organizing blood donation camps by a few big organizations cannot be a sufficient effort to overcome this challenge. We need to organize such camps on regular basis. It is more important that individuals and small organizations join the blood donation drive, even with small level camps.

Looking at above facts, JSG (Topaz) Charitable Trust, Jaipur has taken a never before initiative for noble cause of gifting life through blood donation. The initiative “Blood Donation 365 Days” intends to organize blood donation camps on daily basis, throughout the year, regularly.

The Initiative:

“Blood Donation 365 Days” initiative has already been started. Any individual, company, organization or association can choose a date to host a camp under this initiative. The chosen date will be reserved with the host for every year. This date can be an important day like birthday of a family member, wedding anniversary, death anniversary, foundation day etc. This is how one can make his/her special day a memorable day in noble way. Camp venue can be of their choice like residence, apartment, factory, commercial complex, community hall, public place etc. Host will just need to invite friends, relatives, associates, colleagues and neighbors on such date to join the camp and donate blood if they are found eligible. JSG (Topaz) Charitable Trust will arrange for medical team, mobile blood donation bus/van etc.

Life Saving Nobel Cause:

People are coming forward to host camps and to voluntarily donate blood. Thus, we can say we are becoming more humanitarian. Any kind of support to a blood donation drive is a noble cause that saves lives. As a camp host you just give your 3-4 hours in a year, but your tiny effort can save many lives.

You will feel an incredible deep sense of personal satisfaction… the real happiness.

Objective:

It is already mentioned that a few blood donation camps even if they are on a big level cannot meet the demand of blood. To meet the demand of blood it is necessary that such camps are organized on regular basis. This is possible only when individual and small organizations come forward to be a part of blood donation drive. We are targeting those individual and organizations who wish to organize a blood donation camp, but hesitate of make necessary arrangements and we are making it easier for them.

We intend to organize blood donation camps throughout the year and this drive will continue year on year, we hope.
